"DEMÒDOKOS"
A journey to the greek and byzantine roots of southern Italy
Ensemble Oni Wytars together with some of the most outstanding musicians from the Mediterranean take a trip to a labyrinth of islands of archaic sounds and amazing tales, told in nearly forgotten languages of a nearly forgotten culture.
Praise songs dedicated to the sun and tarantellas, instruments that have survived millenia and sounds of today's folk-traditions – in a world between the Aegean, the Ionian and the Tyrrhenian Sea and Sardinia.
